Another great day at the Wairarapa Club today with the Skeet and DTL club day 10th November

Peter Borrie high scored the Skeet with 46/50. In amongst all the set up, maintenance and pack down work that Peter is always blazing around doing.

Yvonne Ker shot brilliantly over the two DTL events to take the top cash prize and F.P. Murray Ainsley Trophy for the Highest Overall score of the DTL. Yvonne shot 49/50 in the Single Rise and 146/150 Point Score for a brilliant overall score of 195/200. Beating the nearest rival by 6 points!

While the Skeet and DTL was on, we also had three new shooters to the Club being introduced to the game. The progress over the day from initial gunfit and stance review in the morning, to the targets the new shooters were tackling on the Promatic Claymate sporting field by the afternoon was impressive to see.

There is a lot of knowledge within the Club that we are always willing to share with new shooters looking to start clay target shooting and join the Club. It's not a daunting proposition at all.
