News | ALL GO Final Falcon Super Sporting Series presented by Fagan Motors

We're well over our threshold for entries for our Super Sporting event this Sunday 22nd, so we're ALL GO. Please be on the grounds by 9:30am, for a briefing at 9:45am and ready to shoot at 10am.

If you're out there still trying to make your mind up, you can walk up on the morning by 9:30am if you must, or preferably, please pop an online entry through now so we're all organised and squadded up for Sunday morning.

These series of events have raised the bar in many ways. From giving shooters choice in the difficulty level of targets they shoot, to next level prize pools thanks to Falcon Ammunition and Fagan Motors Masterton along with Lagoon Hill Station Driven Shooting and Greytown Butchery. All partnered with our slick organisation, management, online tracking and communications. These events, and the series, are an experience to enjoy.

As with our August day, we'll have a secondary event happening down on the Blue field. It was Ball Trap last time, this time it's our Continental Trap Club Champs. As with the August day, those doing the Continental can jump on the Blue field for 25 targets when you have your break from the Sporting. Worked well in August with plenty of time for everyone to get involved.

If you've entered for the final event already, that's much appreciated and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow. If you are yet to do so, or thinking about it, see if any of the following will get you filling out an online entry for Sunday.

• Best two scores out any three events count for the series (in same stand option (CLUB or COMP). So if you've only done one event so far, you can still come and make a run to the pointy end of the leaderboard

• If you attend all three events (Jul, Aug, Sep) you're in the draw for a days driven pheasant shooting in 2025 courtesy of Lagoon Hills Driven Shooting! A big prize with good odds for those who attend all three events.

• 85 was the winning score on the CLUB stands last time out, and 85 also won the COMP stands. Targets will be similar and we're hoping for at least more of the same. Who can crack the 90's?

• Super Sporting 100 is also our club champs this month! C grade champs will be on the CLUB stands, A & B Grade on the COMP stands. But if you're needing to do the 'other' stand option for Series leaderboard reasons, we can sort you out with a calculated weighting. (Check out the details on this post here). If you don't have a handicap book, don't worry. We'll sort you out.

• Big Falcon ammo prize pools will be there for both CLUB and COMP, along with random draw for Greytown Butchery meatpacks for those in club rooms at prize giving.

• We'll also be dishing out event more Falcon ammo to our series leaderboard achievers! Remember, best two scores count.

• Continental club champs are there for another great challenge. It's great variation and challenge that any sporting or trap shooter will enjoy, so get amongst it. It's also something to do while your squad is waiting on the Sporting. Sing out with any questions

• Finally, we'll have the BBQ cranking as soon as the first squad finishes shooting, so delve in. Remember you can't delve into the bar until you have finished shooting, so wait and see if there are any event or series shoot off's first!
