XMAS SHOOT THIS SUNDAY 15th

Christmas shoot this Sunday 15th. Start time 10am. No online pre entries for this one, so please be on the grounds and registered in the office by 9:30am at the latest.

$60 entry to shoot the 40 targets, and please bring a prize for the table worth $30 (can pay extra $30 at the office if you don't bring a prize)

Christmas dinner in the club rooms at conclusion.

• 3 x 10 DTL matches. Handicap by distance based on your DTL grade

• A Grade 16m, B Grade 14m, C Grade 12m. (If you don't have a book, don't worry, we'll sort you out with a starting mark)

• Highest scores tied in each of the 3 rounds shoot off, moving back 1 metre per break. 

• 1st in each match gets full ham, 2nd gets half ham, 3rd and 4th get pick off the table.

• You'll be handicapped further if you are top 4 in any of the first 3 matches.

• High gun (total score) prize for the first 30 targets.

• 1 x 10 DTL match consolation for those who haven't taken prizes in first 3 matches. (Although prior winners are still welcome to shoot the targets)

• Super Veterans (70+) shoot off at the end. First miss and out for the Prince McKinstry Trophy.

Whatever your preferred discipline through the year, this is a great social event. With the handicap by distance system, and the metre per break back movements during shoot offs it's made for the wily sporting shooter to come and nab a ham. Plus we've got a sideline of sporting long birds on for a cash pool through the day. Hopefully we'll see many from our big sporting audience in attendance this Sunday for a great day.

A SIDE OF SPORTING @ THE XMAS SHOOT

We've got a juicy little sideline planned for the Xmas shoot this coming Sunday 15th. Running in conjunction with the DTL matches, we'll have a stand of challenging sporting targets generating a big cash pot during the day. Winner takes all!

Any time during the day while you've got a break from the DTL rounds, come down to the sporting platform and try your hand at some long range sporting birds. A long bird comp with a twist

We'll have 3 traps set up, each a different presentation of long sporting birds. These will be tough, long distance birds.

• Walk up, pay $10, and you'll have 6 targets (2 off each machine)

• Full use of the gun on each target. Your score out of 6 recorded

• Come end of day. Top score wins. Those tied on top score will shoot off

• From each entry, $5 into the cash pot. Payouts to first, second and third

• Enter as many times as you like, to chase a hard earned perfect score.
