The English Game
2024 English Sporting Series
Championship Series of English Sporting Clays
Welcome to the new home of English Sporting Clay shooting in the lower North. Beginning in January 2024 Wairarapa Clay Target Club will be applying the Series Championship model, made famous in NZ by UTNZ Inc., to English Sporting clays! The proof of success is recorded in our Compak Series from 2022, and the FITASC Series from 2023. For 2024 we've got a lot more planned, and it starts with The English Game in the first half of the year
January through April will see 4 matches of 100 targets each. Scores and Handicap points recorded at these 4 matches will determine your standing on the leaderboards, and your share of the huge $6,000+ value prize pool, thanks to Kilwell Sports and AdamsonShaw surveyors. Top 3 scores / points count, with the final event on 28th April compulsory to count. (i.e count top 2 scores from first 3 matches, plus final match being compulsory).
